Dochas Centre & Gallery
The Dochas Centre in Lochgilphead houses a Gallery and Carers’ Room and provides a meeting place and support hub for carers.
The Centre is available to carers throughout the Mid-Argyll area. As well as a meeting place for individuals, it hosts various groups such as Dementia Support, Parkinson’s Support, GBS and MND support, Carers’ Support, Mental Health Support, Alcohol Addiction Support and Life after Bereavement Support.
The centre offers emotional and practical support for unpaid carers and works to improve the lives of unpaid carers in Argyll and Bute who face particular problems due to the rural and remote aspects of the region.
